Cracked after less than 10 uses

Beautiful mug with lots of capacity. Came well packaged. I only handwashed it despite being dishwasher safe. Mug cracked along the bottom and up the side when I poured water for my tea. Was making green tea so water was about 80oC when the crack happened. Not sure what caused it to crack (pressure riser from manufacturing or something else?). I also have the frog one so hoping that one stays okay.

We are very sorry to hear about the cracked mug. It must have a hair line crack already without being noticed before packing.
